Duct hoses are used to purge, vacuum or exhaust air, fumes, dust, powders, debris, waste liquids, etc. These hoses are lightweight and the inside and outside of the hose are made of the same material. The smaller the bend radius of the hose, the more flexible the hose. Duct hoses are also sometimes called ventilation hose, air duct, and blower hose.
Silicone Duct Hose
Silicone-coated fiberglass duct hoses are used for blowing or venting hot air for particle drying applications in the plastics processing industry, as well as for venting toilet exhaust and pre-launch fuel fumes in the aerospace industry. These lightweight, flexible hoses are ideal for high temperature airflow and fume removal, they can also be used to handle dust, fumes and light powders. The hose resists damage from exposure to UV light and weather and won't kink. They have a smooth interior that maximizes airflow through the hose and minimizes friction. These hoses are not recommended for use with liquids or abrasive materials.

Reinforced PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Duct Hoses are used to move high volumes of air in chemical fume removal, general fume removal and solvent ventilation applications in the food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, industrial woodworking and plastic-processing industries. These hoses can also be used for low vacuum applications in dust extraction equipment. These hoses are resistant to damage from chemicals and moisture, and they are made of a clear material that allows users to see what's inside the tube. The hose is highly compressible to save space during transport.
